Dennis D. Berkey is the current President and CEO of Worcester Polytechnic Institute since 2004.[2] His formal education is in Mathematics with degrees from Muskingum College, Miami University, and University of Cincinnati. Since beginning at WPI he has overseen the development of a biotechnology center known as Gateway Park in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has also overseen an expansion in enrollment, a new residence hall (East Hall), and a new admissions building (The Bartlett Center). The next project for campus expansion he is overseeing is a new athletic facility.
